This is a very ancient village , it has a five storey fort ,in the fort there are many paintings related to god and goddess . It has very beautiful pictures of Radha-krishan and Lord Hanuman , lord ganesha. Besides this fort 2 palace also situated. There are some ancient temples in which one temple is devoted to lord shiva , one is takhur ji temple , and Karni mata ,aawad mata temple ,Balaji temple , and Bhomiyaji temple is also famous . Here A Pabuji ( A Folk God of camel ) THAAN also situated. This village is GRAM PANCHAYAT head-Quarter.Surpura , Devara , Hamirpura , Sola , Jaita ki dhani , Samota ki dhani , Jhunfa are lay in Khatundra Gram Panchayat. The Karani Mata annual fair is also held in the village on Ramanavami. There are some beautiful parasols ( chhatariyan ) also situated which were used to be as the mortuary Ghat.
